SYJDD #2

I’m back…and this time I’m a little ‘disturbed’ if you will। Last week I was feeling really down and slightly depressed so as always when I need a good laugh I watched the funniest show ever…Maury. On this particular episode, as with most, some chick was trying to ‘prove’ aka find out who her baby daddy was…Hilarious within its self. But different in this episode, if at all possible, is that this chick actually knew who her baby daddy was. She insisted that he was the only one she was sleeping with, and he knew that because they were in a committed relationship with each other. When he found out she was pregnant he was actually happy and excited, then they broke up, he got a new chick, she had the baby, and he decided it wasn’t his. Craziness right???? So he’s on the show with his new chick, who he had met when ol’ girl was already 5 months pregnant. Now her ghetto ass backstage screaming to Maury that it wasn’t his baby. Now here’s the crazy part. Dude and Ol’ girl already had a 2 year old baby, and this new chick was screaming that he wasn’t the daddy of that baby either, and his dumb ass was standing right next to her nodding his head. So I’m inspired. I’m inspired to tell that chick and chicks like her: NEVER TAKE MONEY AND KEEP A MAN FROM BEING A FATHER TO HIS KIDS because that’s some SYJDD (Sh…you just don’t do).

I can approach this at a million different levels, but I won’t, I’ll just point out the obvious। First, I think it’s just pure craziness for a woman to even attempt to suggest that a man isn’t the father of a child he potentially conceived long, long, long before she was ever in the picture. Unless you were hiding in the flow of his semen and appeared like you were on the Magic School Bus in her fallopian tubes on your way up to her ovaries and personally saw that no egg was fertilized during their sex--apades, I think you best to keep yo mouth shut.

Secondly, what happens between two parents have nothing to do with the kids। Last thing they need is for their father to one day be a part of their lives and then the next day, he's having DNA tests done because his new chick hates that their mother is getting all his child support। If your any kind of woman, you’d be encouraging to spend time with his kids, and be a part of their lives. What kind of woman could even mess with a man that’s not taking care of his own? Which brings me to my next point:

Don’t sit up in your apartment/house/condo/dorm room/mama’s basement and have your man coming over, buying you things, paying bills, giving you money, taking you out for your birthday, taking you on weekend vacations, buying yo kids Christmas presents etc… when he ain’t seen, heard from, called or even visited his OWN damn kids, long less made sure they eating every night। If nothing else, that’s some SYJDD by its damn self.

So chicks next time you messing with a man with kids, and you ask him to help with next month’s phone bill, make sure it’s only after you made sure he saw to it that his kids have money to eat next month, sleep comfortably, get to school, have clean clothes just as nice if not nicer than his to wear every day, diapers on their behinds, formula in the diaper bags etc. Cuz TAKING MONEY AND KEEPING A MAN AWAY FROM BEING A FATHER TO HIS KIDS is just some SYJDD.
