The last couple of blogs I've posted have been fairly short and honestly insignificant. That's in large part because I've had a lot going on personally. Two weeks ago this Friday, my Grandmother took ill. It was very serious, and really from out of no where. I haven't talked about it, and will only briefly do it here, because I just feel there are certain times and places to do that. Nevertheless, she had a really bad infection and two blood clots in her lungs. I don't know how closely you all follow the news, but Serena Williams recently confirmed a similar experience she recently went through. It was crazy because when I heard it on the radio, it was like "wow, that's what Grandma has". Anyway, the doctors always maintained optimism, but they were very forthcoming in the fact that with my grandmothers prior medical history, and current status, what she was experiencing was very serious and very critical. Tuesday she had two surgeries, and yesterday she had another....But all because of the grace of God, today the doctors were upgrading her status from critical and moving her out of ICU. That's just amazing to me. So I had to write this blog, not to just share with the world whats going on in my family, but to tell you how GREAT GOD IS. If you don't know, you need to find out ASAP. Even when you seem to lose hope, not that we ever did, GOD is still working miracles. Do I have a testimony.
Nonetheless, I just wanted to let you guys know that GOD is always in our corner even when we have given up on ourselves. Its just amazing how amazing he is.
But keep us in our prayers because there is still a long road ahead.
