Just Catching up

So its been a while since I last posted a blog, but I've had lots of things going on so I'll keep this one brief. For starters, I'm really excited about a book I order that just came in the mail. Its called Losing the Race: Self-Sabotage in Black America by John H. McWhorther. I'll let you guys know how it turns out, but so far so good. I've also been rehearsing for this Alumni Band Concert I'm participating in at my old High School....I don't know if I told you all about this, but its been an amazing experience. I mean band members from the years before I was born have showed up to participate in this. So its been nice watching our old Band Director reconnect with all of these students. A reunion of a sort. Nevertheless, we've been rehearsing 3 days a week since February for a concert that will take place in two weeks April 21st to be exact. So if you're in the chicagoland area, and want to come out and support the Concert will be in the auditorium of Thornridge High School  in Dolton Illinois at 5pm. Surely you guys don't want to miss this one.
